In 2010 I created Design Diversions, a series of design-related events and visits in and around New York. My goal in curating this series is to expose a wide range of people to the place-based riches we have in the region and to engage them in conversation around design, innovation and creativity. DDs are open to the public, and each visit is documented on the website. The time it makes to organize, program, host and document these events is substantial, and wholly unpaid.
I make every effort to keep Design Diversions free or low cost. If you have ever enjoyed a Design Diversion, or hope to in the future, please consider donating. Funds will cover mundane but necessary costs such as web hosting and, more importantly, will enable me to both continue Design Diversions and expand programming.
